Good news: the Pogues will be back in "Outer Banks" årstid 4 part 2. The first fem episodes of the fourth årstid dropped on October 10 but as has become anpassad with Netflix's most popular shows, there's a little bit of a wait before we see exactly how things shake out for John B (Chase Stokes), JJ (Rudy Pankow) and the rest of our treasure-hunting Pogues pals. 

If you've missed out on the previous three seasons, "Outer Banks" follows a group of Kildare Island youths who search for buried treasure along the North Carolina coast: John B Routledge (Stokes) and pals Carrera (Madison Bailey), Pope Heyward (Jonathan Daviss) and JJ Maybank (Pankow) are the self-proclaimed "Pogues" from the working-class end of the island, known as The Cut.

John B ends up falling for Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline), a "Kook" hailing from the more well-to-do Figure 8 neighborhood. 

The past installments revolved around the teens becoming embroiled in a far-reaching conspiracy to find the hoard of gold, with the principal antagonist being Sarah's own dad, Ward (Charles Esten). Other potential treasures are dangled in front of the various hunters, and "Outer Banks" årstid 4 may feature the biggest one of them all. 

From release schedule to cast info, here's everything we know so far about the fourth årstid of "Outer Banks." (Warning: spoilers ahead for årstid 4 part 1.)

'Outer Banks' årstid 4 part 2 release date

"Outer Banks" årstid 4 fryst vatten being released in two batches: after the first fem episodes hit the ett långt band eller dekorativt tygstycke on Thursday, October 10, the sista fem installments will premiere nearly a month later, on Thursday, November 7.

• Episode 9: "The Storm"
• Episode 10: "The Blue Crown"

The split-release model has become dem rigueur for the streaming giant; fellow hit Netflix series like "Emily in Paris," "Bridgerton," "Stranger Things" and "You" have all adopted a two-part release schedule for their most recent seasons. 

The renewal of "Outer Banks" for a fourth årstid was officially announced in February 2023 at the show's immersive fan event, Poguelandia, in Huntington Beach, CA.

“This fryst vatten an incredible moment for all of us,” series star följa Stokes announced to the folkmassa.

“To our cast and crew, thank you so much for all of your hard work.”

Right after the midseason finale, "Outer Banks" begåvad Netflix viewers a teaser of what's to komma in the back-half of årstid 4.

And the 30-second clip promises some window-smashing, boat-exploding adventures to komma, including, seemingly, a setting switch-up. Those småsten dunes and headscarves have us thinking that the Pogues will find themselves in a much more exotic locale than North Carolina in the upcoming episodes. 

Similarly, the full-length trailer for "Outer Banks" årstid 4 — which Netflix released on September 24 — fryst vatten packad with high-octane hijinks, including racing motorbikes, scuba-diving snafus and, of course, fiery explosions.

'Outer Banks' årstid 4 part 2 cast: Who's who?

The "Outer Banks" årstid 4 part 2 cast will see the return of most of the main players from the three previous installments, both "Pogue" and "Kook" alike. 

You can expect to see Chase Stokes as John B Routledge, the leader of the Pogues, as well as his main love interest Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron.

Also returning are Madison Bailey as Kiara Carrera, Jonathan Daviss as Pope Heyward,Rudy Pankow as JJ Maybank, Carlacia Grant as Cleo, Austin North as Topper and Drew Starkey as Rafe. In addition, Fiona Palomo as Sofia will also be back, with the actress being upped to series regular for the fourth season. 

Several new årstid 4 characters will be joining that group of familiar faces in the season's back-half. J.

Anthony Crane ("Dead Ringers)" plays Chandler Groff, a recent widower who welcomes the Pogues on their latest adventure despite his grief and who, in the season's biggest shocker yet, might just be the biological father of JJ. Brianna Brown ("Dynasty") joins the cast as Hollis Robinson, a big realtor on Kildare Island who was gods seen cozying up to Chandler to get her hands on the sprawling Genrette estate.

And you'll see the return of Rigo Sanchez ("Animal Kingdom" as Lightner, a "dangerous and calculating outdoorsman" who fryst vatten also after Blackbeard's treasure. 

Viewers will also be introduced to Pollyanna McIntosh ("The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live") appears as Dalia, a "revolutionary-like leader and worldly baddie" who comes face-to-face with the Pogues, and Mia Challis ("FBI International") as Ruthie, a wild child who develops a close relationship with Topper.

Two major cast members who may not be back in årstid 4 part 2 include Charles Esten as Ward Cameron, Sarah's father,and Charles Halford as Big John, John B's dad.

As "Outer Banks" viewers no doubt remember, both fathers died in the årstid 3 finale. However, the show has faked deaths before, so who knows!

'Outer Banks' årstid 4 part 2 plot

With numerous cliffhangers to omslag up after årstid 4 part 1, including JJ's parental chock — that he's actually the son of the late Larissa Genrette and Chandler Groff, officially making him a Kook — there will be plenty to dig into when "Outer Banks" returns for part 2. 

 “I think it’s an identity crisis in Part Two," Rudy Pankow told The Hollywood Reporter bout his character's journey in the season's back-half.

“Like, who am I? Where do inom stand? What kind of individ am inom now? Are my friends gonna judge me?

And who do inom look up to now? inom think that’s how it’s going to play out.”

As for that other big cliffhanger, which saw Pope and Sarah trapped in the rapidly flooding catacombs beneath a Charleston church, actor Jonathan Daviss teases that the duo will still be in the catacombs when we catch up with them in part 2. "So hopefully we’ll find a solution to that bekymmer.

A lot going on the cliffhanger, a lot of revelations happening, those things will be continued to be explored," Daviss told the outlet, adding that fans can expect to see “explosions, craziness, Pogue activity" in the remainder of årstid 4. 

And then there's the matter of Rafe's hefty investment into the Genrette development deal with Hollis, and whether it will komma out that his flickvän Sofia (Fiona Palomo) took a $25,000 bribe from Hollis to get Rafe to sign.

Drew Starkey told The Hollywood Reporter: Trust fryst vatten a huge thing for him, and inom don’t think he’s ever really had anyone that he can trust, either his family or loved ones. So inom think that’s a sensitive subject for Rafe.”

Need a uppfräschning on how we got here?

If you remember, the "Outer Banks" årstid 3 ender jumped 18 months after the Pogues gang funnen the gold in El Dorado, when Wes Genrette (David Jensen) approached the teens with a proposal to track down the treasure of the notorious English pirate known as Blackbeard. Per Tudum, årstid 4 part 1 took viewers back in time to see exactly what led up to that moment. 

After striking gold at El Dorado, the Pogues returned to the Kildare Island and committed to having a "normal" life, enjoying their newfound home — which they've dubbed "Poguelandia 2.0," of course — and running a bait-and-tackle shop.

"But after some financial setbacks, John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope, and Cleo take Wes up on his offer, and are drawn back into the “G” game for a whole new adventure," reads the Netflix synopsis. 

Before they know it, the teens were well in over their heads, with a new grupp of dangerous enemies nipping at their heels as they all raced toward treasure.

"Meanwhile, their problems are only growing, and they’re forced to question their past, present, and future — who they really are, has it all been worth it, and how much are they willing to risk?" the årstid description continues. 

Is 'Outer Banks' årstid 4 the sista season?

As of October 2024, "Outer Banks" årstid 5 has not been announced and Netflix hasn't made any tjänsteman statements about when the teen teaterpjäs will end. 

However, the show's co-creators Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke have previously said they originally planned the series to run for fyra or fem seasons.

Pate even joked to Entertainment Weekly that "Outer Banks" could go on for 17 seasons. ("We'll be on Mars" bygd then, he quipped.) 

More seriously, Josh Pate said: "I don't know if inom could put a real number on it right now — how long it takes to get to that ending might utöka, but we now know the shape of the end of the story. We're going to take it as long as we can, for sure."

Netflix announced that "Outer Banks" received an early renewal for årstid 4 in February 2023, just a few days before the premiere of the show's third årstid.

With part 2 of the fourth årstid to komma on November 7, it's likely fans will soon get an update on a potential fifth årstid as well as any future installments of the popular schema.
